	Potomac District will hold Leader Training on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at Harmony United Methodist Church! 
 

	The Training being offered is: 
 

	
		Leader Specific Training for your Scouting position.
	
		Fast Start Training for your program
	
		This is Scouting:  Traning for all Leaders & Committee Members in all BSA Programs.  If possible, pleasecomplete this training online.  It can be accessed via:  www.sac-bsa.org.  This training will be offered at 11am for those that have not completed it online. 
	
		Youth Protection Training:  If possible, please complete Youth Protection Training prior to this date.  Youth protection should be taken every two years.  It can be accessed via:  www.myscouting.org (make sure you use your membership id# so that the training is credited to your Scouting records.)  This training will be offered at 1pm for those that have not completed it online.


	  
 

	Registration will be at 8:30am.  Training will start at 9am. 
 

	  
 

	If you have not trained or it has been more than 5 years since you have been trained, plan on attending.  Every boy deserves a trained leader. 
 

	YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING is required and needs to be retaken every two years for all leaders.  New leader's reigistration will NOT be processed unless they have completed Youth Protection training. 
 

	The cost of this training is $5.00; this covers part of the actual cost to conduct the training.
