HIGH ADVENTURE OUT OF CAMP ROCK ENON
Did you know that the Shenandoah Area Council and Camp Rock Enon partners with the premier outfitter in the region--Shenandoah Mountain Guides to offer the best high adventure opportunities in the region? Selected programs take participants to the mountains, streams, rivers, waterfalls, caves and climbing areas of the surrounding Virginia and West Virginia countryside. Camp Rock Enon provides a camp 'base' with planned overnight camping at designated areas through the Shenandoah Valley.
DATES
The 2013 High Adventure Programs are offered from June 23-August 3. Programs are tailored to fit upcoming SAC national high adventure schedule. To help prepare future council contingent participants, Shenandoah Mountain Guides will offer high adventure programs to help in their preparations that may include but not limited to canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, swimming, climbing, canyoneering, and caving. Participants work with SMG to select additional outdoor activities based on preference, expected weather, and water depths during the high adventure program.
