Attention Cub Leaders, Webelos Crossover is a weekend camping event at Camp Rock Enon, where Cub Scout FUN ends and Boy Scout ADVENTURE begins. This program is for fifth grade Webelos Scouts going into the Boy Scouting program and joining a Troop of their choice. Our goal is to introduce the Webelos Scout tot he many adventures waiting for them in Boy Scouting and getting them off to an exciting start. The weekend will focus on working with each boy to complete the requirements to earn the Scout rank in addition to working on several of the Tenderfoot rank requirements. They will have also have the opportunity to work on a few merit badges. The weekend Scouting experience will climax with the crossover ceremony on Saturday evening.
Registration Deadline: March 28, 2014 (Register as a Unit Only).
Need at Checkin:
Leadership: Each unit is required to provide their own two-deep leadership
Checkin: 4-7pm Friday, Buffalo Lodge
Parking: All vehicles will park in the designated parking area. Each unit will be given one vehicle pass to be used for transporting equipment to the campsite. Vehicle must be parked in the designated parking lot once all equipment has been unloaded.
Equipment: Each boy and unit will be required to bring their own equipment and personal gear INCLUDING A TENT. No tents will be provided.
Water: Each until should be prepared with their own drinking water. Depending on weather, showers MAY be available.
Uniforms: Class A Uniforms will be required for dinner, crossover campfire ceremony and scout vespers.
Saturday Dinner: 5:30pm in the Dining Hall. (Meal Tickets Required)
Crossover Ceremony: 7-9pm on Saturday
Parents and family are invited to watch the Crossover Ceremony on Saturday Evening. Pack Cubmasters must contact the Scoutmaster for the Troop the boys are joining to coordinate receiving them at the other end of the crossover bridge during the ceremony.
Trading Post: The Trading Post will be open at various times during the weekend.
Checkout: All units must be checked out by 10am on Sunday.
