Get Ready for the 2015 National Order of the Arrow Conference


The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow, and is Scouting's second-largest national event.  Over 10,000 Arrowmen from across our nation gather for an inspirational and unforgettable experience full of fellowship, training, adventure and fun!

Arrowmen attending the 2015 NOAC will get a once in a lifetime souvenir - a reverse colors OA sash!  These sashes will differ from those currently worn in that the colors will be reversed, with a white arrow emblazoned on a red sash.  Shenshawpotoo Lodge No. 276 will produce a special NOAC patch set, hat, and polo shirt for participants.

During NOAC, Arrowmen will participate in a 6 day conference which includes top notch training sessions, cool recreational opportunities, evening shows full of theatrics and special effects, and exciting programs.

The 2015 NOAC will be held from August 3 - 8, 2015 at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Order of the Arrow.

The lodge is accepting $150 deposits now!  The deposit is non-refundable.  The total cost will be $750/person.  The total payment is due April 1, 2015.  Arrowmen registered and paid in full by November 1, 2014 will receive a $100 discount!  (Total fee paid in full by November 1, 2014 is $650)

Payment Schedule:

  • $150 deposit at time of registration
  • $150 September 1, 2014
  • $150 November 1, 2014
  • $150 February 1, 2014
  • $150 April 1, 2015

The Lodge will be traveling by charter bus to and from Michigan State.  Tentative plans are to leave the Winchester, Virginia area on Sunday, August 2nd and we will return home on Saturday, August 8th.

Required Paperwork:  All contingent members will be required to submit the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (A, B, & C)as well as any other forms required by NOAC leadership, including the participant code of conduct.  An "express check-in" is offered to lodges who submit all of the required forms for each contingent member prior to arriving at NOAC, therefore all forms are required to be signed and turned in at the NOAC contingent meeting.  An exact date for this meeting will be announced in the spring of 2015.  Any contingent member who is unable to attend the meeting will need to submit all paperwork prior to this date and send a representative to the meeting to receive information and materials that will be distributed.
