Camp Rock Enon Ranger Corps

As you might imagine it takes a lot of work to keep CRE going, what you may not know is that very little of that work is contracted out; most of the work happens because of volunteers like you lending a hand under the direction of the camp ranger.

The Camp Rock Enon Maintenance Corps is a group of dedicated Scouting volunteers working side by side with our Facilities Management Team at camp to make CRE the best of its kind and unsurpassed in support of the Council’s Outdoor Scouting Programs.

Our mission is to take the lead to ensure CRE’s facilities and grounds are safe and in good repair, ready to support the needs of the various outdoor Scouting programs offered at Camp Rock Enon. We work closely with the Council Property and the Council Outdoor Program committees to make sure we are all on the same page working efficiently, effectively and smartly to continually improve our cherished resource not only for today’s scouts but for future scouting generations.

The Facilities Management Corps hosts Work Days at Camp Rock Enon including major projects, routine maintenance, Order of the Arrow work parties.  We can also arrange for individual or unit projects and work parties upon request.

We are also always looking for the skilled handy person and the not so skilled but eager to help volunteer that wants to take an active role in maintenance of CRE. If you or someone you know is interested in lending a hand, please contact the Camp Ranger.
