Cub Scout Day Camp

Are you looking for some extra outdoor fun this summer? Check out the Down On The Farm Cub Scout Summer Day Camp hosted by the Shenandoah Area Council at the Greencastle Sportsman Association. Scouts will have the opportunity to earn some belt loops while enjoying lots of fun activities and games including fishing, STEM, archery, BB rifle, and slingshot plus presentations each day including farm machinery, animal husbandry, square dancing, Future Farmers of America and on Friday a firetruck will be onsite to help cool-down the Scouts.

Open to all Cub Scouts (Lions, Tigers, Wolf, Bear, Webelos & Arrow of Light) and their siblings (age 5-10) and parents. Note: Lions and Tigers must have a parent with them.

Summer Day Camp will run daily from Monday, August 5th through Friday, August 9th. Each day will begin at 8:45 am and end at 3 pm. Pack your lunch and snacks. Each Cub Scout will receive a camp t-shirt, patch, and water bottle.

The week will conclude with a closing campfire and awards ceremony on Friday starting at 2 pm and ending at 3 pm.

Cub Scout Summer Day Camp at Greencastle Sportsman on August 5-9, 2024

• Registration Closes: July 14, 2024 - No walk-ins will be permitted

PLEASE NOTE:

This is a FAMILY activity. The Scout can register to participate in this activity with or without their Den or Pack. A parent or legal guardian is NOT required to attend with the Cub Scout (unless they are a Lion or Tiger). Siblings are permitted to attend with the Cub Scout youth (if they are 5 or 6 years old a parent or legal guardian must attend with them). 

ALL participants (youth and adults) are required to have a BSA Health Form part A&B with them when they check in on Monday.

Lion and Tiger Adult Partner: In Lion (kindergarten) and Tiger (first grade) dens, each Scout is required to have a parent or other caring adult with them at all meetings and activities. For each Lion and Tiger registered for this event, an adult partner (parent or guardian) is required to register and attend.

For Lions and Tigers, each Scout is required to have an adult partner (Parent/Guardian) register and attend.

• $150 per Participant (Cub Scout/Sibling) - EARLY BIRD SPECIAL
• $175 per Participant (Cub Scout/Sibling) - REGULAR PRICE
• $200 per Participant (Cub Scout/Sibling) - INCLUDES $25 LATE FEE
• Volunteer Adult Staff will receive a 50% discount on ONE Cub Scout Youth Fee
