Winter Camporee

MUST REGISTER AS A TROOP/PACK - NOT INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT

Hosted by the Mason Dixon District and Troop 18 with assistance from Troop 14, the 2024 Winter Camporee will be held at Fort Ritchie in Cascade Maryland on January 26-28, 2024. This event will replace the Winter Games event historically held at Camp Rock Enon. Open to all Scouts BSA troops the event includes camping overnight on Friday and Saturday with programs on Saturday that will revolve around WWII-themed activities such as Landmine Maze, Aircraft Silhouette ID, Send/Decipher Codes, Boot Camp Obstacle Course, Bomb Disposal, Iwo Jima Flag Raising, Tank Building, Radio Communications, Code Talkers, Medic Rescue, Camouflage 101 and a Fort Ritchie Museum Scavenger Hunt just to name a few, (activity stations are subject to change). Webelos and AOL Scouts are welcome to attend for the day on Saturday to see the Scout troops in action at the camporee and participate in some activities.

Scout troops will need to bring their camping gear, food supplies, and equipment to prepare and cook their meals— no ground fires. Additional information can be found in the camporee activity guide available below.

Fee: $15.00 per person (additional $10 LATE FEE after Jan. 5th)

• Registration Opens: November 1, 2023
• Late Fee Begins: January 5, 2024 (at 11:59 pm)
• Registration Closes: January 12, 2024 (at 11:59 pm)
